After graduating in Applied Biology and spending 3 years in postgraduate research Martyn worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry in the UK for 17 years.  After starting his career in sales, including regional sales management, he moved into training, a speciality he remained in for 11 years.   During this time he delivered both technical and skills training for all levels of the organisations for which he worked. Latterly Martyn was the Director of UK Training for a major outsourcing pharmaceutical organisation with management responsibility for a large team of trainers across a range of disciplines.

Martyn has been a judge for the Pharmaceutical Field Awards since 2007 and is actively involved with sales force excellence with a number of clients.
